A Request
to Post Dieters of Sri Veeramachaneni Ramakrishna Diet
For the first 10 to
15 days as per our VRK Sir’s suggestions,
Morning: Take sprouts, a
spoon of honey, any seasonal fruit (Diabetes people
should not take honey and fruits. Instead they can take dry dates.) Soaked
Almonds, Walnuts and Un soaked Pistachios, Cashews and Raisins.
After Noon: Take any
variety of millets like Fox tail millet, little, millet, Kodo millet, Barnyard millet, Brown
top millet. Cook one cup millet rice and have it with 3 cups of curry. (Change the millet variety every
day to get variety of nutrients)Please *AVOID* all types of pulses, restricted
vegetables (as Mentioned in the diet), Samar, milk and curd (little amount of
milk and curd allowed) for the first 10-15 days.
Evening: Between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Just take fruits like
Papaya, Pomegranate, Orange, Apple, Guava
Please *AVOID*
Banana, Mango, Custard Apple, Saputo (Sapodilla, also called Naseberry)
and Jack fruit.
Take 15 grams of
coconut oil before half an hour of taking lunch In case you feel hungry, take
another 15 grams of coconut oil in the evening everyday.*
*After completing the 15
days post diet plan*
Morning: Take wheat rava upma (wheat rava kichadi),
Pesarattu (Green gram puffed cake). Instead, you can also have an omelette
by grinding soaked Almonds, Walnuts or vegetables or leafy greens
along with 2 eggs. You can also have Dosas (South Indian puffed cake)
made from a combination of foxtail millet, Jowar, finger millet and
black gram by soaking them overnight and grinding them to paste with required
salt and water. (Try with different variety of millet everyday).
Afternoon: For lunch continue with the same food options given for the
first 15 days post diet plan. You can now add the restricted vegetable curries,
pulses, and curd too. You can add milk gradually to your menu.
Evening:
(Between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. only) take one Jowar rote
with more curry or two glasses of Rage Malt (You can have the leftover
curry made during lunch to this Rage Malt for the evening.)
*Do not
forget to take 15 grams of coconut oil before half an hour of taking lunch and
before half an hour of taking Jowar roti in the evening everyday.*
*No refined
oils and iodized salt should be used* In the preparation of curries you
can use Coconut oil, Groundnut oil, Sunflower oil or Sesame oil extracted from the oil mill (gangue) on your own supervision. Use sea salt or rock salt only. Take two lemons and 4 liters of water daily throughout the life.
*Eat only when you are
hungry.*
*Eat only until your
hunger is satisfied*do not eat unless you feel hungry again* *Eat only
when you feel hungry again* *Do not take food extravagantly*.
In case you attend
any function, skip the next day lunch or do an
Intermittent fasting
to clear out the new addition of glycogen reserves in the body.
You will never put
on weight if you follow this procedure.
*Diabetes people
should be more careful in selecting food. Prefer only Low Glycolic Foods*
